The Clinton Herald Tuesday April 23, 1996 p. 5 Leroy and Beverly Mensinger of Camanche will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. May 5 in the Camanche Masonic Lodge. Relatives and friends are invited. It is requested that gifts be omitted. The former Beverly Brown and Mensinger were married May 6, 1946, in Porstmouth, Va. They are the parents of six children: Mrs. Cheryle (Reed) Kolsrud of Camanche, Alice Allum of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Beverly (Gary) Snodgrass of Goose Lake, Leroy Mensinger II of Camanche, April Mensinger of Rock Island, and Mrs. Coralea (Tom) Schoenfelder of Gregory, S.D. They have 21 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He served in the United States Navy, was employed with Walters Service Station and was a commercial fisherman. He had been employed with E.I. DuPont for the last 37 years, prior to his retirement.
