The Clinton Herald Wednesday July 11, 2001 p. 8A Kenneth and Beverly Peters of Andover will celebrate their 50th anniversary by renewing their vows at noon July 21 at the Church of the Open Door in Clinton and with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. in the church's adjoining Lamb's Door Building. Relatives and friends are invited. The former Beverly Proud and Peters were married July 24, 1951, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Clinton. They are the parents of two children, Michael Kenneth Peters of Davenport and Michael Paul Peters of Camanche. They have one grandson and one stepgrandson. He was employed with DuPont and Mercy Medical Center until retiring. She is employed as a homemaker.
