The Clinton Herald Monday September 17, 2001 p. 8A Robert E. and Amy Dierks of Goose Lake will celebrate their 50th anniversary with an open house from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Goose Lake Tap in Goose Lake. Relatives and friends are invited. The former Amy McKenrick and Dierks were married Sept. 23, 1951, in Clinton. They are the parents of five children, Mrs. Rebecca (Wayne) Gluesing of Camanche, Jeffrey S. of Goose Lake, Mrs. Elizabeth (Spencer) Craig of Paris, Tenn., Maurice Dierks of Davenport and Roberta Mullin of Camanche. They have 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was employed as a farmer. She is employed as a registered nurse in Wyndcrest.
