The Clinton Herald Saturday January 29, 2011 p. 1C Darryl "J" Blinkinsop will celebrate his 80th birthday with a family gathering on his special day. He was born Feb. 4, 1931, in Clinton. He married Dolores Leslie on Aug. 22, 1951. Darryl is the father of four children, Kathryn of Roebuck, S.C.;, Susan of Peoria, Ill.; Jeni of Spotsylvania, Va.;and David, deceased. He has seven grandchildren and nine great -grandchildren. He has been retired as an electrician with Electric Service of Clinton and was a member of IBEW Local 145 of Rock Island, Ill.
