The Clinton Herald Tuesday September 30, 1997 p. 5 Robert and Bertine Trimble, formerly of Clinton, are celebrating their 50th anniversary. The couple currently reside in Texas during the winter and in Perryville, Mo., during the summer. The event was celebrated with a family dinner and a three-day family reunion in Jule at Best Western Fronties. The dinner and reunion were hosted by their children. The former Mary Bertine Ryan and Trimble were married Oct. 4, 1947, in Welton. They are the parents of nine children: Mrs. Kathy (Dave) Lawrence and Pat, Jim and Ray Trimble, all of Clinton; Ed Trimble, of Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Priscilla (Mark) Babler of Rockford, Ill.; Bob Trimble of Mesa, Ariz.; Mrs. Jane (John) Wilkinson of Ellicott, Md.; and Rick Trimble, who is deceased. They have 17 grandchildren. He retired from E.I. DuPont after 25 years of employment. She is a homemaker, who had been employed as a graduate nurse.
