Tuesday July 22, 1997 p. 5 Herman and Sharon Dierks, 1601 Eighth Ave. South, are celebrating their 40th anniversary. A family dinner is being planned for a later date. The former Mary Frances "Sharon" Dierks were married July 27, 1957. They are the parents of three children: Kim Vining of Clinton; Todd Dierks of Amsterdam, the Netherlands; and Brent Dierks of Chicago. They have two grandchildren. He is owner of Century 21 United Realty and All-American Homes.
