The Clinton Herald Wednesday October 24, 2001 p. 7A Harold L. and Dorothy Arlene Kirk of Leawood, Kan., are celebrating their 50th anniversary. Cards may be sent to them at 2000 W. 86th Terrace, Leawood, Kan. 66206. It is requested that gifts be omitted. The former Dorothy Bates and Kirk were married Nov. 2, 1951, at the Fort Holabird Chapel in Baltimore, Md. They are the parents of three children, Mrs. Lucinda (John) Totten of Clinton of Clinton, Mrs. Anna (John) Allen of Park Hills, Ky., and Harold L. Kirk II of White Springs, Ark. They have four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was employed as the industrial development managing director with the Clinton Development Co. and is retired. She was employed as a trust attorney and as a teacher with Mount St. Clare College in Clinton and is retired.
