The Clinton Herald Tuesday November 4, 1997 p. 5 Arlo and Dena Petersen, 802 15th Ave. South, are celebrating their 50th anniversary. An open house will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 16 in First Congregational Church, Clinton. Relatives and friends are invited. It is requested that gifts be omitted. The former Dena Meyer and Petersen were married Nov. 15, 1947, in Cedar Rapids. They are the parents of three children; Bryce and Stanley Petersen and Mrs. Paula (Al) Christiansen, all of Clinton. They have seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. He was employed as a locomotive engineer with the Chicago NorthWestern Railroad. She was employed as a teacher with the Clinton school system.
