The Clinton Herald Monday May 28, 2001 p. 8A Ray and Shirley Ketelsen of Clinton will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a family dinner at Forest Inn and an open house at Chancy Lutheran Church dining hall, 2315 Wallace St., from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Relatives and friends are invited. It is requested that gifts be omitted. The fomer Shirley Jean Bier and Ketelsen were married June 3, 1951, in Zion Lutheran Church, Clinton. They are the parents of two children, Deborah Kaszinski and Bob Ketelsen, both of Clinton. They have five grandchildren. He was employed as a mason contractor and is retired. She was employed with Clinton National Bank and the Clerk of District Court Office.
