Totten of Clinton will celebrate his 80th birthday with an open house from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Eagle Point Nursing and Rahabilitation Center. Relatives and friends are invited. It is requested that gifts be omitted. He was born on March 1, 1922 in DePau, Ind. He married Maxine Helferich. He is the father of five children, Mrs. Janice (Ronald) Determan of Las Vegas, Nev., Mrs. Jane (Richard) Krongard of Vienna, W.Va., John D. Totten of Clinton, Mrs. Brenda (Kent) Lewis of Pickerington, Ohio, and Mrs. Barbara (Kevin) Chase of Clinton. He has 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was employed as a home builder in Clinton for many years.
