The Clinton Morning News Thursday February 20, 1890 p. 4 A happy wedding was celebrated Wednesday evening, the contracting parties being well known in the city, at the home of the bride's parents on Second street Mr. Ben Nickelsen and Miss Maggie Rohwer were joined in marriage, Rev. Mr. Hartman of the German Lutheran church officiating. But a few of the immediate relatives and friends of the bride and groom were present, and they were served with a fine supper at the bride's home. The groom has been daily seen on our streets for a ling time with one of our milk wagons, which he has sold to his brother Nickelsen who goes to take charge of the Four Mile House. Mr. and Mrs. Nickelsen will commence housekeeping at the foot of Eight avenue.
