Easterly - Cotton wedding

The Clinton Herald Tuesday February 18, 1890 p. 3 The marriage of Mr. Lon Easterly of Clinton, to Miss Dell Cotton, daughter of Mr.& Mrs. Salem Cotton of DeWitt, came off as heretofor announced, at the residence of the brides parents, in DeWitt, on the eveneing of St. Valentine's day, and in the presence of a large concourse of -- guests, friends of the bride and groom. Rev. Joseph Dunn rell of Clinton, performed the marriage ceremony. There were a large number of wedding presents. Easterly is an enterprising young gentleman who was formerly telegraph operator for the C. & N.W. railroad company here, but who is now engaged in the railway office of Clinton for that company. Miss Cotton was raised in DeWitt, and numbers as her friends a large number of citizens. They will take up residence at Clinton.
