Calamus—A reception honoring Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bentrott, who will observe their 50th wedding anniversary, will be held Feb. 1. Friends and relatives are invited to call from 6 to 9 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, Calamus.

Lydia Kroh and Mr. Bentrott were married in Wheatland on Feb 4, 1920. They were engaged in farming near Lost Nation until they retired to Calamus in 1958.

They are the parents of four children: Delmar of Wheatland, Duane of Lost Nation, Mrs. Marvin (Melita) Schroeder of Lost Nation, and Mrs. Charles (Marjorie) Tubbs, Davenport.

They have 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
