The last Will and Testament of Edward McAndrews.
In the name of God Amen;
I Edward McAndrews of the Township of Liberty in the County of Clinton and State of Iowa of the age of Seventy years and being of sound mind do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say:

First – I give and bequeath to my wife Catharine McAndrews all of my real estate and personal property for and during natural life. After the said Catharine Mc Andrews death the real and personal property is to be divided in equal shares between my two daughters Margaret O’Connell and Catharine O’Boyle and in case of the death of eighter (either) of my daughters above mentioned the one surviving in case she has not any heir living at her death the said surviving daughter shall have all property both real and personal until said heirs if any shall come of age and in case there is no heirs living she shall possefs (possess) all the real and personal property during her life.

Second – I give and bequeath to my daughter Catharine O’Boyle one team of horses and four cows and I give and bequeath of my daughter Margaret O’Connell one team of horses and four cows.

Lastly – I do hereby appoint my wife Catharine McAndrews my sole executrix of this my will with bonds as I deem it not nessary (necessary) and after the death of my wife Catharine McAndrews I hereby appoint Timothy O’Boyle senior to divide all of my real and personal property between my daughters within specified in equal shares.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 28th day of Dec. A. D. 1880.

The above instrument consisting of two sheets was at the date thereof signed and declared by the said Edward McAndrews as and for his last will and testament in presence of us who at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

I William Kreim, clerk of the District Court in and for said County do hereby certify that on this day at the Nov. Term A. D. 1888 of said Court the will and instrument in writing hereunto annexed and bearing date in the 28th day of Dec. 1880 was duly proved before and allowed by said court as and for the last will and testament of the real and personal estate of Edward McAndrews late of said County deceased and was by said Court ordered to be recorded as such will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto at my hand and affixed the seal of the court at my office in Clinton in said County this 10th day of Dec. A. D. 1888.
