The Clinton Herald Monday October 5, 1908 p. 6 The marriage of Miss Anna Boyle of Davenport to Michael Kearney of DeWitt will take place Tuesday morning Oct. 6th at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Davenport. Miss Leone Boyle, sister of the bride will be bridesmaid and John Kearney brother of the groom is to be best man. Miss Carrie Murphy of Davenport will play the wedding march. The bride is to be donned in a beautiful gown of white French lawn trimmed with lace and insertion and a picture hat to match. The bridesmaid will be becomingly attired also in white. After the ceremony a wedding repast will be served at the brides home to the relatives and friends then the happy paid will leave for Dakota on a wedding trip. They will go to housekeeping on their return at the Wheeler farm east of DeWitt. The bride is the eldest daughter of C.A. Boyle of Davenport formerly of DeWitt. For several years she was a successful teacher in the rural district here but the past years has taught in a school near Davenport. She is a young lady possessed with a charming manner which has made her a great favorite with old and young. The groom is a prosperous young farmer and well worthy of the prize he has won. Their scores of friends extend their congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
