The Clinton Herald Monday June 15, 1981 p. 8 Susan K. Tunnell and Raymond C. Droste exchanged marriage vows 6 p.m. May 30 in United Methodist Church, DeWitt. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Guy Tunnell, 122 13th Ave., DeWitt, and Mrs. Alta Droste, Route 3, and the late Joe Droste. The bride's white gown was fashioned with full sleeves extending to wide lace cuffs, mandarin collar and gently gathered skirt extending to a chapel train. The gown had a trimming of re-embroidered illusion, and the bride's fingertip illusion veil was edged in appliqué and held in place by a camelot cap of lace. Deonne Murphy was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Sue Rittmer, Laura Lawlor and Sherrie Tunnell. Flowergirl and ringbearer were Lisa Matthiesen and Mitchell Harman. Best man was Fred Droste, and groomsmen were Ed Sanderson, Tom Ugarph and Randy Tunnell. Mike Manion and Jeff Cooley served as ushers. After a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and Canada, the couple is at home in Clinton. Mrs. Droste is employed at Mississippi Engineering Co., Inc., Grand Mound. Mr. Droste is an employee of Ralston Purina Co. and is engaged in farming.
