The Clinton Daily Age, Clinton, Iowa, April 6, 1892

Word came from Morrison Saturday to the Champlin boys that if they wished to see their grandmother alive they must come over speedily. They informed their aunt, Mrs. Hughes, and arrangement were made to go over. Mr. Champlin, their father, being over attending his mother. It is a few short weeks since the grandfather died, and the aged wife has seemed to care not to linger since her life companion died. Other word came Monday that she was dying.
