Two Accidents
A shoemaker employed at 304 Second Street, nearly severed three fingers from his left hand Saturday while cutting a piece of sole leather.
While in Young’s big mill on Saturday last, George Stratton tripped on a piece of wood and fell against a band saw which was lying on a bench waiting to be repaired. His left hand came in contact with the teeth of the saw with such force as to badly lacerate the palm and nearly sever two fingers. Dr. A. Reynold’s was called to attend to the young mans injury.
