It was with surprise that the general public learned that Mr. W. S. Austin, who had been engaged in the livestock business in Morrison for many years, had made an assignment for the benefit of creditors, Mr. J. F. Hecker of this city being appointed assignee. His assets are $14,928.75, liabilities $17,635.36.
