Held an Inquest
Owing to the mystery surrounding the death of George P. Agin, whose body was found floating in the river Wednesday morning, Coroner Meyers yesterday impaneled a jury consisting of Peter Maizen, A. W. Bockel and George Brenizer and held an inquest over the remains. A number of witness were sworn during the afternoon and evening, but there was practically little light thrown upon the matter. Some are the opinion that Agin fell into the river while intoxicated, others are inclined to the belief that it was a case of suicide. The coroner’s jury will return a verdict this morning.
