The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, January 9, 1885

Monday afternoon the lawyers of this county held a meeting to take the preliminary steps for the formation of a county bar association. A committee to prepare a suitable basis for organization was appointed, and consisted of the following legal gentlemen: P. B. Wolfe, C. W. Chase, W. C. Grohe, E. C. Walsh, A. R. McCoy, A. Howat, E. S. Bailey, and I. R. Andrews.
