The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, May 9, 1884

The young lad Morgan Malony, who strayed from his house in Lyons, in January, came to an untimely death, all alone in a ravine, northwest of Lyons. The circumstances of the sad case are in brief as follows. On the 29th of January last, the lad aged 14 years, wandered away, it is though in search of farm work, and being over powdered with the bitter cold became drowsy as is always the case in freezing and laid down in the snow and froze to death.
