A committee of veteran from the Gen. Baker Post G. A. R., visited the cemetery Tuesday evening and placed floral decorations upon the graves of the following named fallen heroes;
Henry Johnson, 14th Wis,
Lieut. McDill, 27th Iowa
Fred Schumacher*
George McDowell, 26th Iowa
- Brown*
- Jones*
O. F. Burlingame, 26th Iowa
N. Perrin, 2d Iowa
Lieut. Whitmeyer*
±J. P. Bennett, Quartermaster L. J. Woodward, 104th Ill.

On Wednesday the following graves in Hess Cemetery were decorated;
C. A. Thomas, 26th Iowa
F. A. Dutcher, 26th Iowa
Heary Hall, 7th Iowa

*The names of the regiments in which these heroes served have not been learned.
±One years ago Capt. J. P. Bennett with a small squad of veterans preformed the ceremony of decorating the graves of the solider dead, and this year his surviving comrades remember and place floral offerings upon his grave.
