The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, January 13, 1882

The cigar factory of Adam Schneider in Lyons was damaged by fire, Tuesday, to the extent of $2,300 on building, stock and tools. The loss on all unsaved tool was covered by insurance. The adjoining building was also damaged slightly. C. L. Root, in whose agency Mr. Schneider was insured has adjusted the losses, and his companies have telegraphed him to settle.
