Mr. Frank Thornburg has been appointed Deputy Revenue Collector to fill the position made vacant by the death of Charles A. Smith, Esq. Mr. Thornburg is a gentlemen thoroughly competent to fill the position, having been in the office with Mr. Smith for a long time, and understands the work of the office thoroughly. We congratulate Mr. Thornburg on his appointment and feel confident that he will conduct the affairs of the office to the satisfaction of all concerned.
