The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, February 4, 1881

Mr. C. D. Pulford was the recipient, last week, of an elegant birthday gift, in the shape of a gold Masonic finger ring. On the ring were, in hard enamel, a square and compass, a keystone, an all seeing-eye and a beehive. On the inside of the ring was engraved, “H. Jacobs to C. D. Pulford,” the ring being presented by Hans to his employer, as a token of respect.
