The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, January 14, 1881

Marshall Whitson captured two cattle thieves and their plunder, Monday. One of the parties was imprisoned on a former occasion, 30 days, for assault with attempt to rape, and the other has served a term for larceny. The cows were the property of a widow lady, named Liesler, who lives about two miles west of Malone.
