The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, July 30, 1880

A select party of Clintonians visited the Linwood Sulfur Springs, on the steamer Maggie Reaney, Sunday, and thoroughly enjoyed the work. Mr. D. Pulford, tearing that Clinton would not be up to the front with all the late cooling and beneficial mineral waters, brought home a barrel of the Linwood white sulphur spring water and now has it on tap at his fountain counter.
