J. H. Flemming's Horses Took Fright 1879

The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, January 10, 1879
Mr. J. H. Flemming’s horses took fright at a locomotive last Sunday, and ran away, and threw off the wagon bed in which was seated, Mr. and Mrs. Flemming and their two children. The horses were stopped near the paper mill in Lyons. No persons were hurt and the wagon box only slightly damaged.
