An Interesting Trial

The preliminarily examination of C. W. Sibley, charged with setting the Davis Block on fire on the 19th inst., began Monday before John Matthews, J. P. at the Council Hall. The trial awakens a wide spread interest in this city and vicinity. Messrs. Flint & Smith appearing for the State and A. J. Leffingwell for the defendant.
