The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, May 8, 1874

Mrs. Casel has just returned from the east, and she brings with her the very latest styles and patterns of millinery and fancy goods now offered. The new style of hats is a perfect gem – a real beauty, and of course everyone will want one. The time to get these things is about now, and the place to procure them is at Mrs. Casel’s.

The people of Clinton and vicinity have long since found out that Mrs. Casel’s brings to the city just as good a quality of goods as can be found anywhere. And further, she don’t go in for a big profits, but is satisfied with small margins, and for this reason she marks her goods down very low. In this way she is never afraid of being undersold, because she can buy goods as cheap as anybody else, and only asks a living profit. Remember the place is on Fifth Avenue, nearly opposite the Post Office Block.
