Dr. A. Reynolds and family have gone to Independence. The Doctor at once enters upon his duties as Superintendent of the Hospital for the Insane. Independence this time makes very materially out of Clinton’s loss. As a man and physician no person needs ask to stand higher than does Dr. Reynolds in this community. We regret his necessity for leaving this city, but we rejoice in his position to so important a position. No Iowa man is better fitted for the place, and we believe we can safely say in advance that he will get the most unbounded satisfaction to the Board which elected him.
