DR. F. G. POTTER, dentist, De Witt; was born in Cattaraugus Co., N. Y., in 1833; he removed to Jackson Co., Iowa, in 1851; prepared for the practice of his profession at Maquoketa, where he practiced three years; he returned to Cattaraugus Co., N. Y., in 1857; returned to Maquoketa in 1865, where he remained till November, 1874, when he located in DeWitt. His wife was Miss Sarah J. Barnes, of Maquoketa, formerly of Cattaraugus Co., N. Y.; they have one child-Irene.
