JAMES S. HAYES, farmer, Sec. 14; P.O. De Witt; was born in. Harrison Co., Ohio, Sept. 21, 1835; be came to De Witt Township in the spring of 1860. He married, in 1865, Sarah Ann Barrett, whose parents, Wm. and Ann Campbell, came to Clinton Co. in 1853.
