DAVID HICKS, farmer, Sec. 22; P.O. Elwood; was born in Cornwall, England, June 24, 1846; emigrated to this country and to Clinton Co. in 1865. Feb. 24, 1874, he married Miss Hannah S. Hiner, a native of Virginia. Mr. Hicks and wife are members of the M.E. Church. He owns a pleasantly-located farm of 120 acres, which is well improved.
