WINGETT, Dewitt H. (Dan), (p. 354), editor for the Clinton Age before founding the Merry War. Born 22 Feb 1850 in Union Co., OH to David P. and Elizabeth Alexander Wingett; md Angeline Emily Deeds 01 Nov 1869; she died 04 Jul 1888; children Angeline Elizabeth W. Thompson and Louise Cody W. McBride; md 2nd Myrtle Lawrence 22 Aug 1895. He died 05 Feb 1933 and is buried at Springdale Cemetery.
