BURNHAM, Frederick Russell, (p. 511) born in MN 11 May 1861; died 01 Sep 1947 in CA. Clinton High School graduate, gold miner, hunter, explorer and Boer War Scout. Seems to have done everything from being a cowboy to discovering the ruins of an
ancient civilization.
