I am looking for relatives or information about Jefferson H. (Huff) Scott born in Iowa about 1870.
He was living in Mendon, Clayton, IA in the 1880, 1900, Census.He was living in Farmersburg, Clayton at one time also. He had a step-daughter Nellie Scott who was born in about 1887. She married J.A. Elder in 1904. Their marriage certificate is on file in Crawford, WI. I would like to know what happen to Nellie. Her husband J.A. Elder was in Hood River Oregon in the 1910 Census. He was listed as single and Nellie was not with him. I have reached a brick wall and would love to have some help in this matter. Thanks so much for your attention.
