Denise - no other site will have an "official" record because the state didn't keep them prior to 1880. Even then, until the 1920's they are incomplete. Ginger's idea of contacting the McGregor library is a good one, and Garnavillo also has a library. I'd contact both to see if they have any old church records, or if the local newspapers ran an obit. Sometimes obits gave cause of death, not so much church records. The Garnavillo library website:
