Fascinating. I am trying to find out the relationship between Daniel Cahalan, Johanna Cahalan Garvey (married to Patrick Garvey), John Cahalan and James. I know that James is the father of Daniel. I believe that Johanna was the sister of John. I do not know if John was the brother of James. Was there another Daniel that could have been a brother to Johanna and John? I think that John Cahalan and ?? had a daughter also called Johanna and she married the son of Patrick Garvey and Johanna Cahalan. Timothy I believe became police chief for a brief while in Fargo, N.D. I have been in touch , or my sister has really, with one of his descendents. I have also been in touch with a couple of other Cahalans, descended from Daniel adn Mary Ann Phalen. Please email me as well as posting anything because I often do not find my way back through these web mazes. Mary Garvey (I am the great granddaughter of Timothy Garvey, Patrick's sister).
