Anthony Osterdock info.

In Response To: Clayton County ancestry (Barbara Osterdock)

Barbara ... was Anthony related to Dominic Osterdock who ran a ferry from Pecks Ferry (now named Osterdock) across the Turkey River starting in the 1850's

Also, are you certain Anthony lived in Osterdock and ran a ferry across the Mississippi. Seems like he would have lived along the river rather than inland several miles. If he is related to Dominic, perhaps Anthony's ferry was on the Turkey rather than the Mississippi.

To save duplicate searches, it would be helpful if you could give us a brief list of what resources you've checked already and what you know about him (vitals, marriage, children, etc.)
