Frederick Duwe Dies Suddenly Wednesday A. M.

WELL KNOWN FARMER HAD BEEN IN APPARENT GOOD HEALTH

Frederick Duwe, a life-long resident of this community, and a well known farmer, was found dead in bed Wednesday morning.

Mrs. Duwe found him when she went to find why he had not risen as usual that morning. He apparently had passed away peacefully in his sleep.

Mr. Duwe was 64 years old. he was born on a farm in Jefferson township July 11, 1873. He was married in 1909 to Miss Ida Tuecke and to them was born one daughter, Viola.
Funeral Friday

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday in St. Paul’s church, and burial will be in City cemetery. The Rev. M. J. Harder will officiate.

Mr. Duwe is survived by his wife, the daughter, who lives at home; two brothers Herman of Jefferson township, and William of Postville; and one sister, Mrs. Fritz Fischer of Manning.

Mr. Duwe had been in apparent good health Tuesday, playing cards and enjoying himself in the evening with friends.
