Private services for LeAllen Lange were held Tuesday, November 24, at the Monona City Cemetery in Monona, Iowa with Rev. Dennis Gilbert officiating. The Schultz Funeral Home of Monona was in charge of the services.

LeAllen "Butch" Lange, son of Kenneth and Marian (Owen) Lange, was born April 4, 1934 at Monona, Iowa. He graduated from the Luana High School in 1952. He was united in marriage to Joyce Kottman on June 24, 1956 at the Garden City United Methodist Church in Monona, Iowa. He was self-employed as a farmer.

LeAllen Lange died Saturday, November 21, 1998 at his home in Luana, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marge Bollman.

LeAllen is survived by his wife, Joyce; a brother Bennett (Darlene) Lange of Postville, Iowa, 2 sisters, Peggy (John) Rothmeyer, and Diane (Gary) Ellis of Postville, Iowa; a brother-in-law, Leo Bollman of Monona, Iowa; a sister-in-law Janet (James) Tayek of McGregor, Iowa, in addition to many other relatives and friends.
