Services Held for Donald Fry

Services were held at the Feeney Knutson Chapel on Saturday, June 15 at 1:30 pm for Donald Fry, who passed away June 12, at University Hospital after a long illness. Rev John Delong conducted the services.

Donald James Fry, son of Gus Fry and Goldie Troup, was born July 12, 1926 rural Strawberry Point.

Survivors include 3 sisters: (Irene) Mrs. Charles Lincoln, Mrs. Kenneth (Beatrice) Phelps and Mrs. Marguerite Sargent, all of Strawberry Point; 4 brothers: Leonard and Melvin, Cedar Rapids; Ralph, Arlington and Leo, Greeley. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters.

Interment was in the Strawberry Point Cemetery. Bearers were: Jerry Lincoln, Larry Lincoln, John Lincoln, Marvin Lincoln, Ronnie Lincoln and Lavern Sargent.
