Marguerite Marie Sargent, 86, of Lone Tree, IA passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a sudden illness. Marguerite was born on May 13, 1922 in the Strawberry Point Area. Marguerite is survived by two sons: Mr. Terry Lee Sargent of Iowa City and Lavern of Strawberry Point and two brothers: Leo Fry of Greeley and Melvin Fry of Edgewood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwin Forey Sargent; four brothers: Robert, Leonard, Donald, and Ralph Fry and four sisters: Irene Lincoln, Frances Phelps, Deanna and Helen Fry. Marguerite was cremated and no services were held as per her wish. The Lensing Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Iowa City assisted the family with arrangements. Marguerite had 4 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
