-Last Wednesday Rev. Gunsten officated at the funeral of Albert Frederick at their home in Wagner township with interment in the Gooding cemetery.
-Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tschantz, Mrs. George Schmidt attended the funeral of their uncle, Albert Frederick, at Gunder, Wednesday afternoon.

Albert Frederick, a resident on route No. 1, Luana, for many years, dropped dead at his home Sunday forenoon. Burial was made Thursday. He leaves an older brother and isster in quite feeble condition to mourn his loss.

Albert Frederick died after a brief illness at his home in Wagner township, Clayton county, on Sunday, Jan. 20.
The deceased was born in Wagner township, May 23, 1867, thus being at the time of his death, 61 years, seven months and 27 days of age. Here on the old home farm he had lived his entire life.
The deceased had not been in good health for the past two years, and tho the best of medical aid was sought, it did not help for long. The direct cause of his death was heart trouble.
The deceased leaves to mourn his loss, one brother, Otto, at home, and three sisters, Lydia at home, Bertha (Mrs. Follins) of Volga City, and Bertha (Mrs Court) of Des Moines, besides many other relatives and friends.
The funeral was held from the home on Wednesday, Jan. 23, with interment in Gooding cemetery, Wagner township, Rev. G. Gunsten of Clermont officiating.
(Note: As published. Submitter has no explanation for the two sisters named Bertha.)

Death certificate gives burial in Eno cemetery rather than Gooding. Eno is more than likely correct as his parents are buried there.
