Koehn, Henrietta Anna (Schultz) 1913-1995

Henrietta Anna Koehn, daughter of Otto and Malinda (Horstman) Schultz, was born May 19, 1913. She died Thursday, August 24, 1995 at the Great River Care Center, McGregor, Iowa. She was 82 years old.

Henrietta was united in marriage to Frederick C. Koehn on March 4, 1931. The couple lived in the Monona area for 45 years, after moving here from Guttenberg.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Frederick, who died in 1964; one son, Jerald Koehn; one granddaughter, Jamie Wheeler; two sisters, Pearl Hanenburger and Louise Staebler; and one brother, Harold Schultz.

Survivors include 4 children: 3 daughters, Fern (Mrs. Keith Mohs), Lavonne (Mrs. Kenneth Duwe) and Bonnie Lee (Mrs. Lamoine Wentz), one son Richard (Mary Ann) Koehn, all of Monona; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers: Otto Schultz of Monona, Earl Schultz of Garnavillo and Robert Schultz of Guttenberg; one sister Laureen Handke of Littleport and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday, August 27, 1995 at Schultz's Funeral Home in Monona. Rev. Terry Hudson officiated. Pallbearers were Jeff, Tim and Brad Mohs; Brian Duwe, Scott Heying, Bob Bechtel and Everett Willis. Arrangements were made by Schultz's Funeral Home of Monona. Burial was at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Monona, Iowa.
