Brady Cameron Frey

A Memorial Service for Brady Cameron Frey, infant son of Larry and Annette Frey, was held Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. in the Frankville Community Presbyterian Church at Frankville, Iowa. The Reverend James Walker officiated with the Meditation by the Reverend Rusty Phillips. Christine Enyart was the soloist and Darlene Winkie was the organist with special readings by David Frey and Laura Morarend. Casket Bearers were: Darrin and Mary Kleve, Kenny and Connie Klepper, Ross and Stacy Malcom, Cory Huinker and Michele Johnson. The Schutte Funeral and Cremation Service of Postville was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Postville Cemetery.

Brady Cameron Frey, infant son of Larry and Annette (Moon) Frey, was born Thursday evening March 13, 2003 at 8:40 p.m. at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. He weighed 8 lbs. 2 ozs. and was 21 inches long. He died one hour after birth due to an unknown lung condition.

He was baptized into the Christian faith Thursday evening at the hospital by Pastor Harold McMillian. His godparents were Laura Morarend and David Frey. Proxies in their absence were his family, Karl and Mary Leete and the medical staff of the hospital on duty at the time of his birth.

Surviving in addition to his parents are grandparents, Lindy and Betty Frey of Postville, and Anita Moon of Elkader; and great grandparent Selma Schaub of Elkader; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Terry Moon.

Brady was a part of his family's life for 9 months and one hour. It is very difficult to let him go after this time, but we know in our hearts that his guardian angel took him to heaven and that his grandfather will take care of him until he meets us again at heaven's door.
