Services For Mrs. Purman On Thursday - Died March 25, 1946 -

Garber - Funeral services were held last Thursday for Mrs. Florence Elvie Purman, who died at her home near Garber on March 25. Burial was in the Hansel cemetery. Mrs. Purman was 59 years and nine months old.

Pallbearers for the services were: Cedric Hansel, Arthur Hansel, George Amling, Amos Franks, Leo Hansel, and Jeff Harbaugh.

On June 11, 1911, Mrs. Purman, Nee Florence Elvie Baker, was married to Peter Purman and to this union three sons were born, Harry, Emmett, and Cecil. Emmett died Mary 28, 1939. She also is survived by Mr. Purman.

Four sisters and one brother also survive. They are Mrs. Hazel Harbaugh of Guttenberg, Mrs. Glen Ridenour of Edgewood, Mrs. Edgar Borrett of Garber, Mrs. Lettie Jenks of Greeley, and Charles Baker of Strawberry Point. A brother, Joseph died in September 1945.

The services were conducted by Oliver Smith of Waterloo.
