Lillian Dickens Gill, born on Pleasant Ridge, Oct. 22, 1862. Died in Omaha, Neb. June 18, 1921.

Deceased was the youngest child of Edward G. and Ann Dickens and lived in this neighborhood until grown to womanhood. In 1886 she was married to Chas. Ellyson. Two daughters, Druzilla and Ila, were the result of this union. Later, after the death of Mr. Ellyson, she was married to Mr. Joseph Gill, whose death occurred a few months ago. Her home during all her married life has been at Sibley, Iowa, tho she has been a frequent visitor to her relatives here.

For many years Mrs. Gill's health has been poor, and after the death of Mr. Gill, she went to her daughter's home in Omaha, and there she passed away last Saturday.

The subject of this sketch was a lady in every sence of the word, and throughout her years of fraility her ambitions were ahead of her strength. She was courteous, kind and always courageous. She was a member of the Congregational Church, of the D. A. R., W. R. C. and M. B. A.

She has lived a life of unselfish devotion to her family, who now mourn her death. Besides her daughters, Mrs Druzilla Flagg of Dubuque, and Mrs Ila Otkin of Omaha, she leaves four sisters and three brothers:-Mrs. Harriet Luce, Mrs. Sephrona Jennings, and Mrs. Josephine Connell, of McGregor, and Mrs. Mary Brown of South Dakota; J. W. and Clayton Dickens, of Idaho, and Robert Dickens of Minnesota.

Sympathy to all is extended to them in their loss.
